Auditions
Ad Deum Dance Company generally requires an in-person audition in order to be considered. Auditions are held during the Spring and Summer Dance Intensives in Houston, TX. In-person auditions may also be scheduled by contacting addeumdance@gmail.com.
Advanced/Professional dancers age 18-up may send a preliminary audition video for review. Please note that an in-person audition may still be required in order for dancer to be considered.
Video Auditions will be accepted January-May for the upcoming season, (i.e. Jan.-May 2018 for the 2018-2019 Season, which begins in Sept. 2018).
Videos should include:
- State your name, age, where you are from.
- 1-3 minutes of a ballet variation/combination. Please wear ballet class or performance attire, short skirts are allowed.
- 1-4 minutes of a modern/contemporary variation/combination. Please wear modern class or performance attire, costumes are allowed as long as the legs and torso can be clearly seen.
Send videos to addeumdance@gmail.com via YouTube link, Google Drive link, or Dropbox link. Please DO NOT send video files via email attachment.
In addition to the video, you must also include:
- The audition application below
- Your dance resume
- A headshot
